Forum Financial Management, LP is in search of a candidate to join our back-office team. This individual would be responsible for overseeing the daily and quarterly activities needed to run our RIA. Primary responsibilities include working with operations personnel in providing accurate performance reporting of clients’ portfolios. There will be a direct interface with the customer service team, principals of the firm, and our primary vendors.

Job Responsibilities & Activities

Account Coordination and Administrative Duties

· Interface with Client Service Team to set up new clients and service existing clients’ needs

· Answer inquiries from advisors and principals of the firm

· Monitor incoming paperwork for compliance with policies and procedures and account closure request

· Ability to edit and create PDF files

· Share responsibility for executing daily reconciliation and auditing of data entry and client account setup to ensure accuracy and compliance

Project Management and Reporting

·  Proactively improve the firm by leading projects to improve processes and technology utilization

·  Create & monitor audits of systems to ensure accurate data for client performance reporting

·  Responsible for creating and running reports

Billing and General responsibilities

·  Interface with key software providers to maintain and update reporting capabilities

·  Quarterly report generation and fee reconciliation

·  Accurately set up new accounts in the reporting and billing software (Tamarac) and double-checking new accounts to ensure they are set up correctly.

· Pulling daily fees and processing final fees for account closures and liquidations

· Drafts letters and final reports for advisor approvals after account closures

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Knowledge of Schwab and/or Fidelity a plus
  • Knowledge of Tamarac reporting and billing software a plus
  • General Skills:

  • Organized and process-oriented
  • Analytical with strong quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Bachelor's degree, with proven success

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience on a Backoffice team for an RIA or Broker Dealer
